The Tournament

Have you ever played a live poker tournament? Do you feel like competing with 99 other Londoners in a knockout poker tournament? Wouldn't it feel good if you could help young homeless people at the same time? Well now you have the chance.

Byte Poker 2010 is a live poker tournament taking place on Tuesday 14th September 2010 at The Loose Cannon Club in London. There is a cash buy-in, of which the majority goes to Action for Children as part of their Byte Night Fundraising campaign.

Tournament Structure

The tournament is a re-buy, knockout structure. Meaning, you buy-in once, if you are knocked out (busted) within the first hour you can choose to re-buy back into the tournament or call it a night. Most people will usually buy back in two or three times in this size of tournament.

The rest of the details are coming soon but the basics are:

  • Entrance fee (buy-in) £30
  • Re-buy (if you're knocked out) £20 - You can re-buy as many times as you like! :)
  • Addon (Add more chips to your stack so that you have a fighting chance to win) £20

There will be prizes for the top finishers. Here's the prizes we have so far:
